Wight Tri Awards Dinner and Awards Evening- 26th November 2016 at Albert Cottage..
It’s that time of the year again when the Wight Tri Club honour the achievements of its members.
Three awards have already been decided.. The splash and dash series..Joe Norman and Sean Williams, the Duathlon Series Award ..Craig Wilson and the Triathlon club Championship, Nick Lever.
There are 5 more awards:
The Female Triathlete of the Year
The Male Triathlete of the Year
The Duathlete of the Year
The Percy Veerance Award
The Golden Crank
All of these awards are decided by the members vote. Before these can be voted on, we need to find out from all of the members what they have been up to over the last year, starting from October 2015 to the present time.
At the same time, I would also like you to nominate a person or persons for the Golden Crank award, giving an outline of why you think he or she has qualified for this nomination. I then can send this out to the members, who will then have a better chance of voting for this award, as previously not everyone knew before what fantastic ‘crank’ moments had taken place.
Can you please therefore email me (email@example.com) a list of all the triathlons, duathlons and multi-sport events that you have taken part in this year, including your placings, (individual, age group and overall). I would like these asap, (deadline 24/10/16)so that I can then create a list to send out to the members so they then can vote, and then collate these in time for the awards evening. You can use the form below too.
N.B. I do not want nominations for the first 4 awards at this stage. Once I create an achievement list, I will then ask you to vote..
I do want your Golden Crank nominations.
