Chillerton Crucifier Duathlon
10 Wight Tri members braved the cold and chilly wind to take on the Chillerton Crucifier Duathlon. A choice of a short run of 2.4km and a long run of 5.9km with 1 or 2 laps of the 14km cycle loop taking the competitors out of Chillerton through
Last Sunday (28.01.2018) 16 members of Wight Tri took part in the Strawberry Pain duathlon, a nominated time event. A choice of a 3.5 or 2.5 mile run in muddy conditions over Mottistone Down was followed by a 13 mile cycle loop through Calbourne and Afton and returning via the
East Cowes Enema Duathlon
18 members took part in the 3rd in the Wight Tri Winter Duathlon Series. Starting from the East Cowes seafront, and with the choice of a 2.2 or or 4.2 km run and either 1, 2, or 3 laps of a 10km undulating cycle route to the
15 members braved the cold weather to take part in the Colwell Duathlon, the second of the Wight Tri Winter Duathlon Series events. Starting from Colwell Bay, the competitors had a choice of a 2.2km or 4km run either side of a 16km or 26km cycle.
1st equal in the nominated event was Adam Younger and
Sunday saw the first in the Wight Tri Duathlon series of races. 12 competitors took part in the Chale Ballbuster, a choice of long and short courses was available with runs of 1.7 miles and 2.75 miles, and a cycle of either 11 or 19 miles. Competitors must choose their

Starting with a 400m sea swim at Yaverland, with even th stronger swimmers finding it tough to get into the sea due to the strong waves,
Wight Tri completed their Summer Splash and Dash Series with the last of the 6 events taking place at Yaverland, with a 300m swim followed by a choice of a 3 km or 6km run.
