Hi Ya

Neil I am not taking the blame for you following me - I did think I was going the wrong way.  You did know that you were going the wrong way, so there!!!!!! Ha Ha Cheesy Cheesy

Anyway - my old tired legs wouldn't have made it round the rest of the course.
Just hadn't done much running since september due to resting off some niggles, but .....  Sad

I promise myself that I will be better prepared  for the next event, as I do not like walking during an event.....  NOT GOOD Embarrassed
Cheers Liz

Good event and good mix of hills and flat

Got confused who was doing long and short courses and a whole load of runners turned off too early at the top of Marks Corner and took a short cut! Missed the fun of the stream flowing down the path.

Thanks to Simon, Phil and Tim for organising yesterdays Duo.  On the run I was having flashbacks to 25yrs ago and school cross country - there was a route that involved the notorious 'Sloppy Lane' Tongue..

I'm still going to claim sabotage for following Liz on her 'long course route' on the second run Wink

Well done to Simon and Phil and Tim for organising and marshalling a very good duathlon.  You certainly know how to knacker old bodies!!!!
What a hard, testing run - you certainly can pick em!!
Nonetheless I did enjoy it although annoyed at taking the wrong route on the final run but.... it certainly made it a bit easier for my tired legs.
I really don't think I have ever walked as much on a run before.
The bike was good although lots of water and debris on the course - am surprised there was only one puncture.  Shocked Poor Martin. Sad

Tim, if you have any decent photos please email them to me so that I can include them in Simon's report for the CP.  Deadline to me by Monday evening.

Cheers Liz
