Many thanks for organising another good event Dave and Teresa - very enjoyable even if getting frustrated with my lack of speed!

Need to find more time to train, lose some weight, better bike......

Thank you Dave and everyone for being so friendly to a newbie.  This was my second duathlon and I think I've got the bug now.  I still need to work out my nominated times though - 55 minutes out actually gave me time to stop for a coffee or do the whole event all over again   Huh

A big thanks to all of you for turning up today wasn't prepared for the large number of competitors though.

Will have to be a bit more professional for the next event with signs put out and give numbers for every one, not easy trying to find names on time sheet but numbers will be quicker to locate and easier for spotter to pick up earlier.

And a big thanks to Teresa for helping with the time keeping shes not a club member but thats another morning spent standing aroiund for hours in the cold.

If we get many more competitors next year going to have to find extra carparking space Grin.

Thanks for organising the event Dave - but I really shouldn't have gone out on the third circuit.....

Top effort Neil true grit and determination to finish, could see you were suffering when you went out on second run. Teresa was quite worried.

Gary no problems mate ain't no point messing your knees up especially this early in the season.

Thanks for organising the duathlon - brilliant - even though there was biting wind.  I love the run course (although the head/side wide along the milli road was horrible) and the bike apart from blackgang is a good course.  I just know that I ain't fit yet when I have to go into the granny ring up blackgang. Glad I only chose to do 2 laps.
Cheers Dave - will look forward to the results and your report for the CP.  I will try and hunt out a photo as well as long as it aint me or Christine and now even Dinesy - Bloody CP they can't get it right for getting it wrong!!!

I know this is a duathlon - but am having running problems with a tight calf at the moment, it is fine when I ride though - any objection if I just come over and flog myself to death on the bike - perhaps 4 loops?
