Just realised that I got the results wrong - sorry Neil - your difference is - 1.29, which would put you in equal 3rd place.  The winner is therfore Brett, who was exactly 1min outside his time.  Sorry sorry.. Its a good job I never had a t-shirt for you Neil - (with or without the wrong date on it)

7 members turned up for the Yaverland Splash n Dash, and were greeted with very good condition - fairly flat sea and run conditions. First out of the water (approx 400m) was Nina, in 10.15, followed by the ever improving Steve Gratton.  Fastest run was posted by Paul Wells who competed the 21/4 mile run in 15mins 14sec, who had his first sea swim in several years.  Nina crossed the line in first place overall in 26mins. As this was a nominated event, the winner who was closest to his nominated time was Neil who finished just 31 secs inside his nominated time of 32mins32secs.
