Annual Wight Tri Club Championships. Swim/Bike/Run from Cowes Green, next to the ‘Cabin on the Green,’ by the junction of Mornington Road and Queens Road.

13:15 registration for 14:00 start. Swim 250m/600m , bike 22km/27km out to Lock's Green/Colemans Lane OR Shalfleet Garage, returning via Whitehouse Road,Run 2.6km/5.2km along the esplanade once or twice.

Brightly coloured swim caps must be worn. Rear Lights must be fitted to bicycles. Beach or swimming shoes are advisable as the swim is Australian and crosses a pebble beach to transition.

£10 to enter pre-registration will be available. Members only.

25 places available. After this has been reached we will manage a reserve list. Entry to the event will close on Sunday 30th August.

Prizes will be awarded for Men / Women on the LONG course only ( 1st /2nd / 3rd ) there will be an additional reward for the athlete or team who are closest to their nominated time.

SWIM

Australian 250m/500m straight off the beach.

BIKE

Out long seafront, up Shore Road and the left down Solent View Road. Out to Rew Street roundabout, right and through Porchfield to tricorn. Short course left onto Colemans lane to Whitehouse Road. Long course right to to Shalfleet Garage and then left back along Yarmouth Road/Forest Road to Whitehouse Road - left. Return via same route - take care - blind junction at end of Whitehouse Road.

Run

(2.5km/5km) From transition along sefront towards Gurnard. Turn at steps to beach before Gurnard beach huts. Once or twice.
