David Squirrell

Wight Tri’s David Squirrell flew east for his first international half—and only his second ever—and smashed it with a PB of 2:29:22! No walking, no whining, just pure squirrel power. Along the cobbled course, he was ambushed by Isle of Wight Road Runners and West Wight clubmates dishing out surprise “well dones” like Polish pierogi.

From Kraków’s streets to the TAURON Arena finish, David proved you don’t need experience—just stubborn legs and island spirit. Well done Mr Squirrell… now what challenge next??
